Euro line car rental terms & conditions:

Euro line is that leases the car to the renter whose signature is visible in the rental contract where he agrees to the terms and conditions mentioned in the rental contract

1. Age and driver's license:

   • Any renter who is 21 years old “depending on the vehicle category” and holding a valid and acceptable driver’s license that is at least one year old “depending on the vehicle category” is entitled to drive our cars.

   • Driving licenses written other than Latin letters cannot be accepted, but an international driving license with the original driving license can be accepted.

   • If an accident occurs by a person not mentioned in the rental contract, the responsibility will be fully charged to the person whose name is mentioned in the contract.

2. Additional driver:

   An additional driver can be added to the contract where he is 21 years old "depending on the vehicle category" and holds a valid and acceptable driver's license at least one year old "depending on the vehicle category" to drive our cars, the additional driver fees are determined on the contract according to the vehicle category.

3. Car rental term:

   • The minimum car rental period is 3 days.

   • The daily car rental period is calculated on a 24 (twenty-four) hour system.

   • The monthly car rental period is calculated as 30 (thirty) days.

4. Payment method:

   • The total rental amount and deposit will be charged at the start of the rental, the payment cannot be processed with another person's credit card as it must be made through the credit card of the person renting the car, which shows his/her name, surname and credit card number.

   • Cash payment is not accepted for the deposit amount.

   • Only cash can be accepted for the rental amount.

   • Euro line does not accept debit cards as a method of payment.

5. Pre-payment:

   • The owner of the credit card must be the same person receiving the car, and the name of the owner must be written on the card.

   • The renter will be required to show the credit card through which the payment was made upon receiving the car.

6. Car use:

   The renter agrees not to allow any person who has not been accepted by Euro line to drive the car and bears all responsibility for their conduct and further confirms that they will not use the car for the following purposes:

   • For illegal purposes or for the carriage of goods, the carriage of passengers for money, for racing, or for towing another vehicle.

   • Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, excessive loads, excessive baggage weight, or an excessive number of passengers.

   • The renter guarantees to keep the car locked and in case he does not use the car, he must keep the car license with him and not leave it in the car and the car must be parked in a safe place and not exposed to any danger and in the event of any damage even if it is caused by nature, the renter will be considered responsible and obligated to compensate all damage hit the car.

   • The renter shall not in any way sell, mortgage, assign the Agreement, the car, accessories or its equipment, or otherwise dispose of it to the detriment of the Company. Any violation of these conditions bears the full responsibility of the renter, and the company can take the car immediately in any suitable way chosen by the company.

   • The renter confirms and guarantees the information he provided to the company to drive the car and bears all responsibility for any false information and is obligated to compensate any damage that may be caused to the company as a result of this.

   • Euro line is not responsible for any personal items left in the car during the rental period (jewelry/cash, etc.).

   • The renter is not entitled to take the car outside the borders of the Republic of Turkey.

   • The renter is responsible for any damage or damage to the vehicle caused by the transportation of prohibited or goods prohibited by law or for the commission of an illegal act under Turkish law.

   • The renter is responsible for any claim or any obligations of another vehicle or any official authority towards the company during the rental period.

   • The renter confirms that he will not install any stickers on the car windshield (tinting) or any other stickers and that he bears full responsibility towards the official authorities.

   • The renter is obligated to return the car to the airport and to give the representative of Euro line a ticket for parking the car at the airport, and anything inconsistent with that, the renter bears all fines or legal procedures followed.

7. Fuel:

   • The car is delivered to the renter with a full tank of fuel. If the car is returned with lost fuel or an empty tank, the fuel price difference will be collected in addition to the service fee of 10%.

8. Kilometer limit:

   • The daily mileage limit is determined by the vehicle category and the number of rental days.

9. Vehicle conditions (delivery and return):

   • The renter confirms that he received the car in good condition and clean and that its five tires are in good condition and there is no damage.

   • In the event of any tire damage, except for a natural reason, the renter agrees to replace the damaged tire directly at his expense with the same quality and size of tires, and he is not allowed to tamper with the kilometer counter and its connections, In the event of a defect in the counter, the renter must inform the company of this, and he must return the car in the same way he received it (fuel + cleaning).

10. Airport Fee:

    • An additional 8% airport fee will be applied to rentals.

11. Traffic fines - tolls for bridges and highways (HGS):

    • The driver bears any responsibility and traffic fines arising from non-compliance with the applicable traffic laws of the Republic of Turkey. Traffic fines, bridge and highway crossing fees (HGS), which occur during the rental period of the vehicle will collect from the person specified in the rental contract after the end of the rental period.

    • The renter bears the period of time during which the vehicle is kept by the official or local authorities for any reason whatsoever within the period of the contract.

    • When Euro line is notified for the car license plate traffic violations during the rental period, will charged from renter's credit card and a service fee of 10% is also charged for the traffic violation.

12. Insurance:

    1. An amount will be collected “depending on the type of car” Refundable deposit for violations, highways, bridges and minor accidents at the beginning of the rental It is collected with the rent amount and returned after 20 days from the date of delivery of the car (additional 3-7 working days depending on the bank).

    2. The company provides insurance coverage for damages to other vehicles and third parties, and any other material or moral responsibilities and damages, all of which are the responsibility of the renter.

    3. Euro line provides additional insurance services that can be purchased from our office when renting a car. The price varies according to the car category:

       • collision damage waiver with excess (CDW).

       • Super collision damage waiver with excess (SCDW).

       • Personal accident insurance covers the driver and passengers, it varies according to the vehicle category (PAI).

       • Glass and tire insurance "does not include roof glass" (TWC).

13. Benefiting from insurances is void in the following cases:

    • Use of the car by a person not mentioned in the rental agreement

    • Didn’t have an accident report and an alcohol report from the doctor.

    • Used car outside normal conditions of use (used car and engine temperature is high, used car and road conditions are poor, used car on a flat tire, improper filling of fuel, etc.).

    • Using the car in violation of traffic rules (exceeding the legal speed limit, crossing a red light and other similar offences).

    • Damage or accident resulting from the use of the car for cargo, or a cargo carried in the vehicle.

    • Poor use and carelessness of the car (not adjusting the speed according to road conditions in wet weather, not maintaining the minimum safety distance and other similar uses).

    • Not informing the police or the company immediately after the accident or theft and leaving the car at the scene of the accident.

    • If the original car key cannot be delivered in case the car is stolen.

14. The renter is obligated to pay the following:

    • The renter is obligated to pay a full day late fine after an hour has passed since the delivery of the vehicle.

    • If the car is held by the official authorities due to any violation of the law, the renter agrees to pay the rental fee until Euro line takes the car back.

    • All traffic violations during the rental period + 10% service fee.

    • The renter agrees to pay the Highway and Bridge tolls (HGS).

    • The renter agrees to pay the excess kilometer fee after exceeding the permitted kilometer limit (depending on the vehicle class).

    • The renter agrees to pay the parking fee if it is not paid.

    • The renter agrees to pay a deposit (determined by vehicle class) which will be refunded after 20 days from the date of delivery.

15. Extension of the reservation period:

    • The renter agrees to notify Euro line in the event that the rental term is extended 48 hours before the end of the agreed period and is obligated to pay the extension amount immediately after the company agrees to the extension.

16. Cancellation:

    • The renter agrees in the case of cancellation of the reservation, if the reservation period is more than 3 days, one day will be deducted and the rest of the amount will be returned, but if the reservation is 3 days or less, no refund will be made.

17. Return the car before the end of the period:

    • The renter agrees that if the vehicle is returned early or before the end of the period, no part of the amount and fees paid will be refunded.
